Setup
Both bikes with all triathlon accessories installed, including AeroVault hydration. Trinity Advanced SL on CADEX 4-Spoke Disc WheelSystem, previous Trinity Advanced Pro on CADEX 65 WheelSystem. Giant's page does not name the rider setup; Rennrad-News reports a full-body dummy.
Manufacturer test. Giant claims a 5.9 W average saving for the new bike. The two bikes ran different wheels, so the gap is not frame-only: Rennrad-News separately reports Giant's claim that the CADEX 4-Spoke wheels alone save 6.4 W at 45 km/h over CADEX 65 wheels (https://www.rennrad-news.de/news/giant-trinity-advanced-sl-triathlon-test-info-preis/).
