GiantPropel Advanced Pro
The Propel Advanced Pro is the middle grade of Giant's fourth-generation aero road bike. It shares the Advanced SL's tube shapes, one-piece Contact SLR Aero Integrated cockpit, 32 mm tyre clearance and UDH hanger, but the frame is moulded in Advanced-grade composite (863 g against the SL's 800 g in Giant's comparison) and the integrated seatpost gives way to a Vector aero seatpost with -5/+15 mm offset. The fork is still Advanced SL-grade. Giant sells it with Dura-Ace Di2, Force AXS, Ultegra Di2, Rival AXS and 105 Di2, every build with a power meter, and as a frameset.

Our verdict
Overall
out of 100, average of 6 categories
The Propel grade most racers should look at: the Advanced SL's tube shapes and one-piece cockpit, a power meter on every build and a frameset at a quarter of the SL's price. The frame is 63 g heavier and a little less stiff, Giant publishes no drag figure for it, and the cockpit comes in one width and stem length per size.

Good to know
Design
The front triangle is moulded in one piece (Giant's Modified Monocoque Construction) from Advanced-grade composite, and the fork is Advanced SL-grade with a full-composite D-shaped steerer.
SourceAerodynamics
Giant's 18.44 W claim for the new Propel is published for the Advanced SL only; the Advanced Pro shares its AeroSystem Shaping tube profiles, one-piece cockpit, aero bottle cages and 28 mm tyres but Giant gives no separate drag figure for it.
SourceFit
Unlike the Advanced SL's integrated seatpost, the Advanced Pro uses a Vector aero seatpost with -5/+15 mm offset. The one-piece bar comes in one width and stem length per size: 380 mm drops with an 80 mm stem on XS up to 420 mm drops with a 120 mm stem on XL, hoods 20-30 mm narrower than the drops.
SourceCompatibility
Giant's product photo of the Pro-DA shows a UCI approved-frame label on the seat tube; the frame takes a UDH hanger and tyres up to 32 mm.
SourceHistory
Giant launched the fourth-generation Propel in March 2026 in three series: Advanced SL, Advanced Pro and Advanced.
SourceVersions
In Giant's comparison the Advanced Pro frame weighs 863 g against 800 g for the Advanced SL, with the same 360 g fork; the complete frameset comes to 1,568.5 g with the seatpost and clamp. Giant measured 11% less pedalling stiffness and 11.9% less torsional stiffness than the Advanced SL frame, with the same fork stiffness.
SourceVersions
Builds differ by market: Giant UK sells the Pro-DA, Pro 0-AXS, Pro 0-Di2 and Pro 1-Di2, Giant Germany adds a Rival AXS Pro 1-AXS, and Giant USA lists only the Pro-DA and Pro 0-AXS complete bikes plus the frameset.
