Aero road2026Noah 3.0 (third generation) ↗Disc brakesUCI legal

The Noah 3.0 is the cheaper version of Ridley's third-generation Noah Fast aero bike. It keeps the Noah Fast's tube shapes, drawn up around the UCI's 8:1 rule, and its geometry, but uses Ridley's Essential Series lay-up of 24T and 30T Toray carbon, which Ridley says makes it slightly heavier. It also drops the Noah Fast's one-piece Nimbus Aero cockpit: the Noah takes a conventional bar and stem or a one-piece integrated cockpit, and unlike the Noah Fast it also works with mechanical groupsets. It clears 34 mm tyres and uses a UDH hanger.

Our verdict

Overall

out of 100, average of 6 categories

The Noah Fast's UCI-limit aero frame and geometry at a much lower price, with carbon wheels on most builds and a power meter on the Force build. The heavier Essential lay-up and plainer cockpits give up some speed and weight, but the Noah takes normal bars and stems and even mechanical groups, which makes it easier to fit and live with.

Good to know

  • Fit

Ridley says the Noah has the same geometry as the Noah Fast, but the tables it publishes for the Noah list a 30 mm taller head tube and about 28 mm more stack (XS: 532 vs 504 mm) with 7 mm less reach than the Noah Fast's, presumably because the Noah Fast's cockpit sits down into the head tube. The figures here are the ones on the Noah's own pages.

Ridley sells the Noah 3.0 in its Essential Series below the Elite Series Noah Fast 3.0. It says the two share geometry and characteristics, and differ in carbon lay-up and cockpit integration.
