CinelliPressure II

Aero road2025Pressure II (2nd generation) ↗Disc brakesUCI legal

Cinelli's flagship race bike, the second-generation Pressure, was unveiled at the Italian Bike Festival in September 2024. It keeps the original Pressure's geometry but has a straighter, slimmer seat tube, a new seatpost and clamp and revised cable guides that cut the frame kit's weight by 5% (109 g), plus room for 32 mm tyres. The T800 carbon monocoque frame is painted and assembled in Italy and comes with a one-piece PRSR2 cockpit.

Our verdict

Overall

out of 100, average of 6 categories

For riders who want an Italian race bike, painted and assembled in Milan, with a one-piece cockpit and 32 mm tyre clearance at less than big-brand prices. You give up published aero data and a light frame (1,050 g painted), cockpit sizes are tied to frame size, and it takes electronic groupsets only.

Good to know

  • Design

Compared with the first Pressure (2020) the geometry is unchanged, but the mould was reworked: the seat tube is now straight and slimmer instead of following the rear wheel, the seatpost clamp moved from a top bolt to the front of the post, and the thru axles sit flush in the fork.

    Source
  • Compatibility

Rotors up to 160 mm; stock builds use 160 mm front and 140 mm rear. Cinelli measures tyre clearance at 32 mm.

    Source
  • Maintenance

3bikes found the rubber cover over the new seat clamp a little soft and hard to keep in place, and notes the flush thru axles need exactly the right length if replaced.

    Source
  • History

Unveiled at the Italian Bike Festival in September 2024 with four complete builds and a frame kit, tested beforehand by riders of the MBH Bank Colpack team.

    Source
  • Versions

The EU and US stores sell different builds: the EU range adds power meters (4iiii on Shimano, SRAM on Red and Force) and Columbus Cento50C carbon or DT Swiss/Fulcrum alloy wheels, while US builds use Boyd Rouleur alloy wheels and no power meter. The launch press release gave €5,600-10,300 for the complete builds and €4,100 for the frame kit.
