CervéloP-Series (2019)
Replaced by Cervélo P-Series
The first P-Series replaced Cervélo's P2 and P3 in September 2019 as a lower-priced, UCI-legal tri and TT bike that borrows P5 aerodynamics. It keeps a standard stem so any basebar and extensions fit, and ships with a 500 ml down-tube aero bottle, a Smartpak 400 top-tube bag and a rear hydration mount. Builds ran from mechanical 105 with bar-end shifters and cable disc brakes to Ultegra Di2 with Reserve carbon wheels. The 2024 P-Series replaced it.

Our verdict
Overall
out of 100, average of 7 categories
A used-market or clearance buy for riders who want a UCI-legal tri bike with a standard stem, so any cockpit fits and it packs easily. It came with an aero bottle, top-tube bag and rear mount, but has no in-frame storage or hydration, tops out at 28 mm tyres and many builds used cable brakes and bar-end shifting.

Good to know
Design
Mechanical builds used cable-actuated disc brakes and an alloy Zipp cockpit; electronic builds got hydraulic disc brakes. The nose and head tube take their look from the P5's bayonet fork and the seat tube shape from the S5.
SourceCompatibility
Cervélo's archive lists 28 mm as the maximum tyre width with 36 mm of frame clearance, a 57T maximum chainring for 2x, 140 mm flat-mount brakes and SP21/SP23 seatposts.
SourceHistory
Launched in September 2019 to replace the P2 and P3. AeroGeeks reported a $2,500 frameset and a $3,200 entry build with mechanical 105, $300 more than the P2. Cervélo claimed the frame was 141 g (9%) lighter, 18% stiffer at the bottom bracket and 30% stiffer torsionally than the P3.
SourceVersions
Cervélo's archived P-Series page lists the last builds and US prices: Ultegra Di2 ($6,800), Rival AXS ($5,400), 105 Di2 ($5,200), Ultegra mechanical ($4,400), 105 Race ($4,200), 105 ($3,500) and the frameset ($2,700). Some builds appeared in two specs, e.g. the 105 with Shimano RS305 or Tektro Spyre cable brakes.
