Argon 18E-117 Tri Disc
Replaced by Argon 18 E117
The E-117 Tri Disc was Argon 18's entry-level triathlon and time-trial bike from late 2019 until the all-new E117 replaced it for 2025. It added flat-mount hydraulic disc brakes, 12 mm thru-axles and room for 28 mm tires to the rim-brake E-117 Tri, but kept its non-proprietary layout: a regular stem with clip-on aerobars, an aero carbon seatpost with adjustable offset and Argon 18's 3D headset system, which offers three head tube heights per size. It was UCI approved.

Our verdict
No overall score: there's no complete-bike price to rate
A simple, UCI-legal first tri bike with disc brakes, a conventional cockpit that takes any aerobar and three head tube heights per size, so it is easy to fit, pack and service. There is no built-in hydration or storage, the frame tops out at 28 mm tires, and it has been replaced by the more integrated E117.
