  1. 2019-07

    S-Works Shiv TT Disc

    S-Works TT Disc

    • Disc brakes only; replaces the rim-brake Shiv TT
    • Specialized claims it is 500 g lighter than its predecessor, about 200 g of that from a one-piece bar and stem
    • Electronic groupsets only, 1x or 2x
    • Clears 28 mm tyres
    • Stepped seatstays designed at the limit of UCI rules

  2. 2018-10

    S-Works Shiv Disc

    S-Works Tri

    • Disc brakes replace rim brakes
    • Rear Fuelcell holds about 1.5 litres; a Nutrition Fuelcell on the down tube holds up to 12 gels
    • Three basebar positions and 115 mm of pad stack adjustment
    • Front end folds for travel by loosening five bolts
    • Specialized claims it is nearly a minute faster over 180 km than its 2011 Shiv

  3. 2011-10

    Shiv (triathlon)

    • Triathlon-only frame that breaks UCI rules in at least eight ways, unlike the UCI-legal Shiv TT
    • Fuelselage hydration bladder inside the down tube, refillable through a port on the top tube
    • Five frame sizes with an adjustable stem and reversible seatpost, replacing a single standover height
    • Specialized says it is faster than the Shiv TT at yaw angles above about 7.5 degrees

Travel, maintenance & warranty
Travel & packingOn Shimano Di2 builds the seatpost only comes out after removing the EW-RS910 junction and unplugging the 1200 mm wire that runs down the seat tube. For bikes that travel often, Specialized suggests replacing that wire with a 700 mm and a 500 mm wire joined by an in-line EW-JC200 junction. The basebar folds down to the fork and the cockpit unbolts for packing.
Packing disassembly—Unplug the single Di2 Y-wire under the nosecone and remove the two tower nuts, then lift the extension socket (extensions and arm cups) off the fork; the tower nuts go back on to hold the spacer stack. The basebars can be rotated down alongside the fork by loosening their two wedge bolts.
