LivAvow Advanced SL
The Avow Advanced SL is Liv's women's triathlon bike and the sister model of Giant's Trinity Advanced SL, launched with it in January 2025 as the first disc-brake Avow. It uses Advanced SL-grade carbon (433 g lighter than the previous Avow frameset, per Liv), the AeroVault reservoir and top-tube bento box, and an AeroDrive base bar whose armrests adjust for stack, reach, angle and width. It comes in four smaller sizes, XXS to M, and Liv says the frameset is UCI-compliant for time trials.

Our verdict
Overall
out of 100, average of 7 categories
A women's tri bike built on Trinity Advanced SL technology, with an 850 ml reservoir, a bento box and armrests that adjust for stack, reach, angle and width, in sizes XXS to M. The trade-offs are a press-fit bottom bracket, electronic-only shifting and Giant's own cockpit, and riders taller than about 182 cm run out of sizes.

Good to know
Design
Liv says the Advanced SL frameset is 433 g lighter than the previous-generation Avow with no loss of stiffness.
SourceFit
The armrests offer 24 times more positions than before, set with a two-bolt clamp; removing two screws frees the clamp bridge for packing.
SourceCompatibility
Brakes are flat mount: up to 160 mm front and 140 mm rear without adapters, 160 mm rear with one. Only electronic groupsets fit.
SourceRacing
The UCI approved the 2025 Avow frame and fork (listed as MY25 AVOW ADV PRO) on 21 April 2024 in sizes XXS to L.
SourceHistory
Liv announced the Avow Advanced SL alongside Giant's Trinity Advanced SL in January 2025, initially as a frameset in tri or TT form; it is the first Avow with disc brakes and follows the Trinity's template with women-specific tuning and geometry.
SourceVersions
For 2027 Liv lists the Avow Advanced SL 1 (SRAM Force AXS E1) and SL 2 (SRAM Rival AXS E1) and the SL-FF frameset; the 2025 Avow Advanced SL complete bike and tri frameset are still listed in some markets.
